Why Healthcare? Both of my parents were doctors in China and they inspired me. When me moved to the US, my parents couldn’t practice medicine anymore and that drove me to go to medicine school and become a physician.
Hot Topic that should healthcare leaders agenda: Take care of the patient in real time exactly at the moment that they need them.
How have you created results by doing things differently? We have focused our product offering in terms of three primary services: 1) medication management 2) care plan delivery 3) complement of the care plan piece
Setbacks that you learned from: We initially planned to do direct consumer approach until we realized that in US that everything is covered by insurance. We generated a bit of publicity and we received a lot of inbound interests from strategic partners. We realized that it is more sustainable and we can get to the market faster through our distributing partners.
Proudest leadership moments: One lesson, a moment that I have been quite proud of was when we had this vision and went after it.
