When I was a boy, I had a bad accident. I climbed up some monkey bars, got to the top and fell backwards head first. I blacked out and didn't wake up until several hours later. When I woke up, I was in pain and felt confused. I was in a hospital room by myself and started freaking out because I was there by myself and I had no idea where I was! The last thing I remembered was being at the park with my cousin. Thankfully, my parents walked into the room shortly after I woke up and told me the story. I didn't suffer any fractures or brain damage. I miraculously made it out of the hospital and went back home. Ever since that moment, I have felt a tremendous amount of gratitude, appreciation, and awe for the work done by providers to help people restore their health.
