Why I decided to get into Health...
When I was a boy, I had a bad accident.  I climbed up some monkey bars, got to the top and fell backwards head first.  I blacked out and didn't wake up until several hours later.  When I woke up, I was in pain and felt confused.  I was in a hospital room by myself and started freaking out because I was there by myself and I had no idea where I was!  The last thing I remembered was being at the park with my cousin.  Thankfully, my parents walked into the room shortly after I woke up and told me the story.  I didn't suffer any fractures or brain damage.  I miraculously made it out of the hospital and went back home.  Ever since that moment, I have felt a tremendous amount of gratitude, appreciation, and awe for the work done by providers to help people restore their health.

Now, we're breaking down the silos...

While my talents and interests didn't lead me to become a physician, they did lead me to get into medical device sales.  I wanted to be a source for good in the world just like the doctors and nurses that helped me when I was a kid.  At first, working the industry was awesome.  After a few years though, I started to notice how siloed healthcare was.  I started to become discouraged and disillusioned about the healthcare system in the U.S.  That's when I took some time off, did some major reflection and decided that this was not a problem, but an opportunity to contribute in a big way.  I decided that I would be a catalyst for breaking down those silos and creating a forum for communication and collaboration to improve healthcare outcomes and reduce inefficiency.  I started the Outcomes Rocket Podcast as a way to give Healthcare Leaders and Influencers a space to speak, collaborate and share best practices.  I invite you to join me on the journey to improve outcomes together.
